Annual Report (Fiscal Year 2008-2009) The Mental Health Center of Madison County celebrated several accomplishments during FY 2009 in spite of a drastic downturn in the economy that resulted in significant funding shortfalls. Our hope is that the year will not be remembered for the “great recession”, but as “the recession that made us great”. In the midst of great economic challenges, children were served in new ways in their homes and at their schools, adults were cared for in their communities so they could avoid expensive institutional care, and families who struggle with the effects of mental illness and substance use were supported in a more efficient and effective manner. Electronic health records were fully implemented during the year, our website was completely overhauled to be more informational and interactive, and, finally, new compliance standards were adopted to make us a more trustworthy and transparent care provider. This website participates in the CenterSite Network of behavioral healthcare websites, and receives some content from Mental Help Net. Contact Information: Mental Health Center of Madison Co.
