Independent Living

Independent Living: Our Independent Living/Shelter Plus Care Program is a multi-disciplinary team approach, designed to provide homeless persons with serious mental illness housing and an opportunity to reach psychiatric and medical stability while gaining independent living skills. Through a subcontract with the City of Huntsville, the Center provides housing for up to 40 residents for an 18-month period via a HUD grant working toward the goal of independence and employment.
