Medical Support Services (Nova)

Staff psychiatrists (MD or DO), both fulltime and parttime, provide psychiatric assessments and diagnoses and prescribe medications as appropriate. They meet with clients at least every 90 days for evaluation and maintenance purposes.

Nurses (RN or LPN) perform nursing assessments, meet regularly with physicians to assist in medication management of all clients receiving psychiatric medication, and administer injections as ordered by the physicians.
