Rehabilitative Intensive Outpatient Program

Rehabilitative Intensive Outpatient Program (RIOP) is a structured, organized milieu that is designed to transition people from sick role to choosing and achieving life goals.  The focus of the Rehabilitative Intensive Outpatient Program is to assist consumers in improvement of functioning, facilitate recovery, regain self-worth, optimize illness management, and achieve integration by helping consumers become active productive members of their family and community.

VISTA offers employment assistance by providing intensive support and education regarding illness management, medication management and job maintenance skills. These services help clients attain and sustain volunteer work or part-time employment assistance. VISTA falls under the Rehabilitative Intensive Outpatient Program.
